Ahed was born from a simple frustration: you can walk into any fast-fashion store in India and find fifty shirts with English text. Try finding one with Urdu. Try finding one where the calligraphy is actually correct.

We are a small, independent label making apparel for South Asian Muslims and the global diaspora who want their language on their chest, not as a novelty, but as a statement.

Every design is rooted in the script. Ghalib sher in Naskh. Self-affirmation in Kufi. The everyday Urdu of our WhatsApp threads, given a proper home on heavyweight cotton.

We are India-first, community-first, and script-first. Ahed means commitment in Arabic. This is ours.

How we make them

All tees are printed on 180-300 GSM cotton, depending on the design. We work with vetted print partners who understand RTL typography and take calligraphy seriously. No pixelated script. No mirrored text. No compromises on the letterforms that matter most.
